Conserve your ice by using only 5/8 of a block to make this sculpture rather than using an entire block.

This ice sculpture design has long been a part of my Mother’s Day collection and was one of the earliest Mother’s Day designs that I came up with. The solid black portion on the design should be snowfill engraved so that the lettering is clear and not lost in the sculpture’s silhouette. Also, it’s advisable to cut this piece from a half-block slab welded to a stabilizing base (not shown) instead of using an entire block.
