cruise ship

I don't remember why Intel was having a party that needed a cruise ship ice sculpture, especially since this was in New Mexico; no large bodies of water anywhere nearby.

Many people see ice carvings on cruise ships. Not so many people see ice carvings of cruise ships. I originally did this sculpture for Intel back in 1997. They have a factory in Rio Rancho, NM, near Albuquerque, where I was until 1998.

Sculptures like this with a lot of straight lines and evenly spaced details can sometimes be tedious and frustrating. Take your time, try to work in a cold area, and absolutely use a template. (below) This is the sort of design that a CNC machine really does well.
